Andy and Jen had a baby!

On Saturday April 19, Marcia and I went to visit Andy and Jen in Iowa City. We went to Chipotle for lunch and then we went to Cappanas for some Gelato. We gave them a quilt that Marcia made. Andy and Jen gave us a Boppie for our baby.
Something must of been in Jen's burrito because that night she went into labor and had Colin Andrew on Sunday at 4:20 in the morning.

7 Weeks to go!

I guess it is crunch time now for the nursery. Marcia and I have been trying to find time to work on the baby's room. This week, we got new carpet for the room. It is nice, before it was just a hard wood floor. I am not sure what the next step is yet, but I better get going on it. We have also been really busy working on the "Things to do to the house before the baby comes list." A lot is done so far, but there is still a lot to do.

We are also trying to do some date nights before the baby comes. Last weekend, we went to the musical "Gypsy" in Cedar Falls. Didn't know what to expect, but we had a great time. This Saturday, we are going to see a play called "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". It is one of Marcia's favorite old movies. I haven't seen it so I don't know what to expect.

Learning to Blog

The last two days have been all about "blogging". We're pretty proud of ourselves for posting a picture and tonight we've mastered the video...at least we think we did. If all goes well, you'll be able to meet our cat... SimonJ

Our First Blog

Here we go, the Kreutner's are now Blogers for the first time. With Baby J on the way, we thought we should have a place to post all of the videos and pictures. We are supper excited about Baby J's arrival. We are calling him Baby J. because he does not have a name yet (thanks to Matthew calling everything ....J, examples: Marcia J...Simon J... Baby J..) Baby J. is due the 13th of June and is on schedule. He's active and currently kicking Marcia in the ribs.

Simon is our cat and you will probably get updates and pictures of him too!
